unconscious thoughts!

Hi Brooke!

I feel like you might have mentioned a process you have for identifying an unconscious thought. What will happen is that I will have a feeling but cannot find the thought that is causing it. The feeling feels too overwhelming and like it comes first. What steps can I take to begin to uncover the thought that is causing the feeling? I am not buffering – I am using meditation to feel the feeling and am having great results with that — allowing vs resisting!
