Unfocused and Unorganized


Hi Brooke, First let me say that I am so excited to be part of scholars. You are truly inspiring.
For the last few years I have been feeling increasingly useless. I am unorganized, unfocused, my house is a mess, I can’t get control of the clutter, the laundry, the dishes, my kids, their toys. I can’t find time to exercise (I am very overweight) to properly do my kids homework or even get them to want to do homework. I just feel like a mess and am spiraling out of control.
Listening to your podcasts has helped me a lot already in better understanding myself, how feelings work, etc. But I am still stuck on what to do or how to do it.
I feel like if I can just get better organized (meal plan, declutter, schedule, etc.) that tis would be my domino to a better life. But whenever I start one of these things I give it up quick. And I haven’t been able to try and organize more than one area at a time.
I lose focus very quickly. I am not diagnosed but think I may have ADHD.
Are there any tools or methods that can help me better organize my life? And what can I do to remain focused on my tasks?
