Urge for the day!

Yesterday, I allowed an urge for a few minutes by putting my hands on my chest, comforting myself, and being really present in the moment. I put a coffee bean in the box (that’s my homemade version of an urge jar).

But even 30 minutes later, an hour later, and in the afternoon, I kept on thinking of that thing that I really wanted to eat! It seemed like I couldn’t stop thinking about it even if I felt like I truly allowed it!

Are we supposed to keep on thinking about it like this? Would it go away by itself?

What are your thoughts? What am I doing right/wrong? 🙂
