I often get urges to snack while I’m working. I’ll choose to let them pass, but since I want to get back to work before I lose focus, I start working again instead of actively allowing it for 10 minutes. Does this count? It sort of seems like that’s functioning as a distraction instead of allowing myself to sit with the urge and let it pass. I just forget about it. A little while later the urge might comes back, and I’m not sure if the first urge was properly handled or if this is possibly worth a second bead when I repeat this process. I’d love some guidance.
