I have gotten really good at allowing urges for doing a physical thing (not eating a cookie, working out, cleaning the house). I am very good at making a plan and following through. I am struggling with emotional urges (wanting to control my kids, wanting to beat myself up, wanting to be angry at someone that has given me bad customer service). These urges come up “unexpectedly“ and I don’t feel as strong in those moments. How can I take this concept of allowing urges to the next level?
