Wanting what you can’t have


I am getting divorced.  My my husband filed after having an affair(s).  I still have the thought “I don’t want to get divorced.”  I wish I could figure out a way to change his mind.  So my model is:
C = divorce
T = I don’t want to get divorced (I want the old relationship).
A = think about how I want the old relationship, avoid doing things needed in divorce, not doing a good job with divorce tasks or other tasks, hating life
R = I am not accepting reality?

Do I have to start telling myself I like something I don’t?
