Welcoming Anxiety..

When you say to welcome anxiety in, it makes sense when I’m rolling along. But when having a moment, it’s so much harder. Like do I quickly sit down and piece it out on paper (thought download) and work through it that way? Sometimes I’ll have a wave of random anxiety go through me completely catching me off guard and then all of a sudden, I’m second thinking my world. Like just now…I began getting ready for a dinner tonight with my elderly uncle that I adore and suddenly I’m trying to think of ways to get out of it! I literally said “what the heck” out loud. I’m excited to see him, I just don’t get it. What are steps on welcoming and working through waves of anxiety?
