Hello! I’ve been working a lot on allowing my emotions instead of resisting them. I’m trying to really understand the difference. Am I right in saying that whether we resist or allow an emotion is based on how we think about the emotion?… resisting type thoughts “this sucks” “I shouldn’t feel this way” “I can’t believe I’m feeling this” “I don’t want to feel this way.” Allowing type thoughts “this is the 50% negative” “I’m supposed to feel this way” “nothing is wrong” “I can handle this.”
