Brooke, I’ve heard you talk about your heavy purse a couple of times and I’m curious what’s in it. You mentioned it once in a way that made me think it had old, unprocessed emotions in it (you said something about when you were 5).
Recently you talked about it as if it had whatever you were dealing with currently. Maybe it’s both? I’ve heard the term “emotional baggage” before so I think it’s interesting that you actually have a type of luggage as an image for it.
Do you ever try to unload the old stuff? If so how do you go about doing it? Does the purse ever feel lighter?
Do you feel like eventually, you’ll be able to put it down for good or is it something that will just be there always and you’ll carry around as needed? Asking for an anxious friend. 😉
