When people ask how you are doing…

Hi Brooke!
My husband has been watching your videos with me and is finding it extremely helpful! Today we were talking about how to respond when someone asks “how are you?” I have created a habit of listing off all the things that aren’t going well and now want to respond in a positive way. He was wondering if it would feel fake to respond with “I’m great!” even during moments of the day when we don’t feel great. Not sure if this is making sense 🙂 but do I respond with how I truly feel in that moment (usually something about how I’m ok but tired/overwhelmed) or do I work on responding with what I’m working on feeling (I’m feeling great!). I guess overall I would like to quit complaining. Even if I’m still working on not doing it in my head?
Thanks!
Bethany
