When to do a specific thought download and when to do a general thought download.

As a new member (yay!) I am working my way through the Start Module and beginning to practice using the thought download and model. In the example video, Brooke walks her son, Christian, through a thought download about his golf game, which is a specific topic. In the Monthly Workbook, the instructions say to write down “all the thoughts in your head”, which is pretty general.

When do you recommend doing a general thought download, and when do you recommend doing a specific thought download? If you are working through a module in the study vault, would you tailor your thought download to that topic for that month? Or might you do two in a day – one specific and one general?
