When you don’t know what the action or result will be..?

Here is an unintentional model I just wrote during my daily practice:
C – current weight has stayed within the same 5lbs for months
T – I am a failure / I feel like a failure.
F – defeated, shame
A – continue to overeat (“It doesn’t matter, I’m a failure anyway.”)
R – current weight stays the same

I started an intentional model with a bridge thought that I could believe:

C – current weight staying the same
T – It’s possible that I’m not a failure when it comes to weight loss.
F – gentle (with myself)
A –
R –

Here is where I got stuck. Should I predict what this thought will do? I haven’t practiced it yet. Or should I just let the thought be and see what happens?
