How do I know the difference between worry, as an indulgent emotion, and genuine concerns about issues or events that require action/planning and preparation? Ie I think about a potentially negative conversation that may eventuate at work and don’t know if this is indulgent or an issue I should plan and prepare for. It may not happen, however, I get a sense of call by thinking (worrying) about it and how to manage the theoretical situation. What differentiates the two? Thank you.
