Your thoughts about you

I have a lot of criticisms of myself that don’t start with “I am”. For example, I shouldn’t pick at my face is one. Before I look at that belief, should I word it like, “I am a person who picks at my face even though I know I shouldn’t?”.

My plan is to uncover these thoughts, and then ask who I want to be, how I’d feel if I had that accomplished, and build new beliefs and story from there. I want to make sure I frame the current beliefs properly to set myself up for success.
