"it’s going to be okay"

I’ve noticed myself trying to calm anxious chatter in my head, particularly before I go to bed at night, lean on the saying “it’s going to be okay.”

This week, I realized that that thought is poison – in the sense that – it implies the “C” is not neutral. Whatever it is I’m thinking about is “bad” and things will get better at a later date.

I worked on saying to myself “it is okay.” “You feel this way now, and that’s okay”

But also wondered what else I might consider here?
