Hi Brooke,
This is a follow-up to a previous post regarding my desire to become a life coach.
C – In my current job I make a six figure salary, my commute is 1-3/4 hour each way and I typically get home around 7:45pm.
T – I want to do something meaningful, help others, have flexible hours.
F – uncertain
A – no action
R – not doing something that I think is meaningful?
T – I have a strong drive/passion to do something meaningful, help others and have flexible hours
F – excited, motivated
A – research coach training programs
R – progress towards doing what I desire
These were questions that I had posted.
I think that I need to research all of this and develop an action plan with due dates for myself or all below.
– which training program is best for me?
– what niche is best for me and in which there is a need?
– good training programs are expensive and I want to be able to make my money back in One year (this is a Thought.. this fear is my biggest barrier)
– can I at least earn my current salary? Give myself a timeframe that I believe is realistic?
One area that I have a passion for is eating disorder coaching, helping teens and women. I have a string drive to help prevent others from living the way I did for so many years (counting calories, restricting, fear of gaining weight, thinking that the only thing that makes me special is that I can stay thin).
You talk about having a specific target market.
Maybe: eating disorder coach for working women or for Jewish Women?
I would love your feedback on my models and my thoughts above.
Thanks!
Lisa B.
