I’ve listened to podcasts on the above two topics and just wanted to clarify the difference. Acceptance is truly accepting someone for they are and not trying to change them. Boundaries are the ways in which one creates guardrails for one’s self, while still not attempting to change the other person. I get to be me, they get to be them, but I create boundaries so they don’t violate my “safe” space (however safe looks to me). Is that a fair assessment? Thanks!
