Am I switching models?


I was wondering if you could help me.  When I think about the fact that I need to get hired when I finish school which is my circumstance, I think : “I’m concerned that I will not be able to get a job as fast as I want”, I feel stressed. The action I take is that I gather info for job search, I get informed in other ways through friends. Is that a model switch where I actually go to another thought from the same circumstance which reassures me?  My question is can we actually feel stressed from a thought and still take action or does it mean we have switched models and gone to another more positive one?  Can we feel stress and still be motivated to take action?
