My coaching client may be facing a negative diagnosis, but we won’t know until we get more data and test results.
Meanwhile, she is very scared, anxious and down.
I am using the model with her and have her see that anxiety is fear of future feelings… and how focusing on the now, and what we know is more productive and less dramatic.
How else can I help her feel less anxious. I know it has to do with her thoughts… but what if she has a hard time believing in her new thoughts that are so not natural for her brain right now?
