Can a person experiencing issues in their own life become a Life Coach?

As I read through all of the questions of my fellow students ask I see such bravery, motivation, and a willingness to overcome their thinking and change their own life. Which got me wondering… I know you run such a successful Life Coach School.

My question is can people that have problems or issues become a life coach? People in our group here are over eating, over drinking, dealing with anxiety, relationship problems, auto immune issues… We all know that no one is perfect. We all will have obstacles so just wondering where one has to be in self-coaching to consider becoming a coach? Is there a problem in one’s life that precludes them from becoming a coach?
