CHAOS CREATED BY CEO

Hi Brooke:

I’m hyper-focused on creating my plans and following them each day. My challenge is that the CEO of the company I work for does not follow this philosophy. He is style is centered around very impromptu meetings, dropping by unplanned, his executive team being ultra-responsive (e.g. within minutes over text of him asking for something). He frequently shows up late to meetings and then meetings run over their scheduled time slot.
I’ve tried discussing the downstream impacts of this style with him – on the team and the overall corporate culture that he’s trying to build (centered around accountability). He is not interested.
How could I maintain a focus on my daily output and self-commitments in this environment?
