Constraining to one goal

I understand the benefit of choosing one project and focusing all your energy on that project to completion. But how do you do that with a health and fitness goal? I created a plan to meal plan every week, self-coach daily on the goal, work through the overeating videos, and workout daily. But even all that only takes a few hours a day.

I know that choice is mine to add a second goal in the downtime, but the rule follower in me is worried that I may be doing it wrong.

So my question is, how do you successfully focus on two goals and one of the goals does not have a lot of daily planning time?
