HI, here is my model:
C – I walked out of a meeting with one of my tenants with folded arms
T – I can’t believe I didn’t handle that better
F – inadequate
A – I’m judging myself for what I said and did
R – I let myself down
I want to get to the next model. I want to be better prepared for spontenous meetings, when someone may be having a negative emotion. I know what happened is I mirrored my tenant (she was frustrated and then I became frustrated). Do I need to sit with the emotion of inadequate and see what comes up for me? I keep wanting to jump to: I need a better model…. Please let me know what I might be missing. Thank you!
