I did the homework questions and I felt a lot of anxiety and dread today about upcoming work stuff. (My people pleasing button is getting it’s ass kicked.)
When i got to the “how do i want to feel?” question, i wrote down “relief.” But that didn’t seem right.
I know our thoughts produce our feelings and it seemed right that only i can produce relief for myself as opposed to an external circumstance. But relief seems like a feeling on the road to another feeling and not something we should desire to produce in and of itself. Am i seeing this wrong? Is there another way to view this?
