Feeling my feelings


Hi! When I’m doing the daily homework, I have trouble answering the question: what does this feeling feel like specifically? Some feelings I can identify and describe easily (shame, fear), but other feelings are harder to identify physically. They feel more mental, or more like I’m describing my thoughts. Example: one day I was feeling disappointed. I couldn’t really describe it. I just wrote, feeling down, more of a thought than a feeling. Any pointers? Are certain feelings easier to describe than others? Some feelings just feel like a lower vibration. I just feel slower and slumped down.
Also, some days I don’t really have anything I need to accomplish other than doing weekend activities with the kids. So I just choose to feel loving and enjoy my day. Is this okay? It feels good, but am I playing it too safe?
