Follow through and the Four Tendencies


I listen to Gretchen Rubin’s podcast, where she has put forward her theory of 4 tendencies: people have a type in terms of follow through, 1 of which is very good at upholding commitments to themselves and 3 of which…not so much. For example, my tendency is to be an “obliger”, someone who puts others’ needs before their own.

As I do Monday Hour One, I’ve noticed this tendency in the way I handle the unexpected things that pop up during the week. (By the way, loving these tools!)

Do you subscribe to the Four Tendencies theory, and if so, does it change the work we need to do as part of Monday Hour One?
