My food protocol involves intermittent fasting, and I have questions about urges to eat towards the end of my fast. Today at 13 1/2 hours into my fast, I got the urge to eat something, because I’m genuinely hungry. Do I really have to ride out this discomfort for the next 2 1/2 hours? Either way I feel like i’m betraying myself. I’m either betraying myself by not keeping a promise to myself to fast for 16 hours, or i’m betraying my body because I’m not listening to its need for food.
