Getting the Most of my Coaching Session


I am wanting to know how to advocate for myself on my coaching meetings.

I do my own though download beforehand. I walk myself through questions as I analyze. I bring myself to a point that I want to be coached on.

And yet when I go into a call, they want the back story. We spend 15 minutes doing what I did alone and the last 5 minutes on what I came for. I would love to spend all 20 minutes on what I came for. How do I advocate for myself in the call so that I don’t do double the work? Even my coaches will say “and here’s what you led with. ” 5 minutes are amazing but I want 20 minutes of coaching.

I could ask for help on the end of my model.
I could stop them and remind them that I want help with the second half of my TD.
