I was working out today, and today’s coach (my favorite) uttered the words that I have heard SO many times through SCS, and Brooke’s podcast: “You’re feeling uncomfortable, and that is ok!”
I was, indeed, very uncomfortable (jet lagged, tired, and it was a grueling class). Those words helped me stay focused and honesty, feel okay.
I was okay.
Sometimes, we just need to hear the words in the right moments, right?
Now I feel like I can repeat and rehear the coaches’ words whenever I am feeling uncomfortable, whether it’s a physical one, or an emotional one.
The trick now is… how can I keep these words in my head? How can the impact be as great and useful as when I heard them earlier today?
