Homework Help

I have set my impossible goal for weight loss. I want to make sure I am approaching this like you intend and have you help me with some concrete ideas to get me rolling. My goal is to weigh 125 pounds. For me to be at a normal BMI, I would need to be less than 145 pounds. Since I have not been less than 145 pounds since 7th grade, 125 seems impossible for me. In June of 2017, I weighed 230 pounds. I currently weight 192 pounds but have been as low as 175 in the last year. When I experience stress and depression, I buffer with food. I have been listening to your podcasts and Katrina Ubell’s podcasts and also coached with Kirsten Sarfde for several weeks. I understand the concepts behind the model but signed up for scholars again to dig into the work more. (I did Sept-Nov last year but wasn’t doing my homework so wasn’t getting results I wanted so decided to step back and save the money at that time) I read the part about escape fails vs worthy fails and that made a lot of sense but as I started to brainstorm my actions for quarter 1 – the things that I was coming up with seemed like they could turn into escape fails because I know they would be helpful but I don’t know if I can do it… so how do I decide if these are worthy or escape.
-Meditate daily for at least 5 min
-Get 8 hours of sleep each night
-Not eat flour and sugar
-Eat my food in an 8 hour window of the day
-Only eat when I am hungry
-Exercise 5 days per week
-Only eat when sitting down
-Do not do anything else while eating
-Chew each bite at least 10 times
-Do not drink my calories
-Do not use food at entertainment
-Quit looking up new recipes
-Avoid giving food as treats to my children
-Don’t eat leftovers off of my kids plates

I guess I’m just looking for guidance to let me know if this is the type of thing your are talking about with the homework.
Thanks,
Kate
