How do intermittent fasting, planning ahead of time and the hunger scale work together?


I have been following my protocol and planning all of my food 24 hours in advance as well as doing 18-20 hour fasts. During my fasting period, I often get about a +5 or 6 feeling of hunger, but if I wait it out or drink coffee it will subside. Also, considering that I plan my food 24 hours in advance and am committed to staying on plan, how does the hunger scale play into that? I sometimes feel hungry between meals, but feel like I should wait it out until my planned meal in order to keep a commitment to myself. I’m just curious about that and how you recommend using it.
