My husband and I are in the early phases of getting a divorce. We both want physical distance and he thinks I should pay for it. I make more money than he does, I offered to give him the money and write an agreement that when we get divorced this will be calculated. He is pressing for an outright gift. I want him out of my physical space but I also feel that he is manipulative and will drag this on and try to drain me of money. What should my intentional thought be to see a path out of this circumstance?
