I have been at my ideal weight for a few months now. I follow my protocol consistently. I’m 5′ 4″ 21% body fat, 104 lbs. I still carry enough tummy fat that no matter what exercising I do I can’t define my abs. When I tighten my tummy they feel hard as a rock but on the outside it still looks poofy. I have always thought the reason abs don’t show is that you have to get rid of the layer of fat covering them up first. Is this true? Should I lose 2 or 3 more pounds? As a reference, I was 100 pounds from middle school until I had kids at 40 years old. I’m now 51. 100 pounds is doable but I don’t want to go to extremes.
