Impossible goal: 25 results = 25 fails?

I started the impossible goal program and I have set my 25 results for the quarter. I understood that I needed to list 25 results that I would expect to fail at (to get used to putting myself out there and to learn from my previous failures).

It feels counter-intuitive to me to approach the result you want to achieve by thinking/knowing in advance you are going to fail at it. (And doesn’t it defeat the whole purpose of pushing yourself? Since you may not even try, knowing you are going to fail).

Have I understood it all wrong? Could you please reframe the intention when approaching the 25 results?
