In the first two weeks of January, I launched a web site, requested testimonials (and got some), gathered writing samples and reached out to an organization that may hire me for a kind of writing I have never done before and am pretty sure I will suck at.

I AM FREAKING OUT!

So, right on target, yes?

I just keep telling myself, doubt and discomfort mean you’re on the right track. I just wish I could BELIEVE that I can succeed, even when I’m doing something new.

I’m so afraid this company will actually like my samples and hire me and then I will fail and probably die.
