I’m having some difficulty interrupting the following Model:
C: Daily exercise
T: I shouldn’t have to create motivation to do this, my health should be important enough to be all the motivation I need
A: Not scheduling exercise, buffering with work/reading/other activities, making excuses/lying to myself (I walked some and that should be enough – although I don’t truly believe that)
R: I don’t create motivation to engage in daily exercise
I sense some resistance and want to interrupt this Model as I think this is going to help me create a new intentional model that I can believe. I want to learn more about how to interrupt a Model. Maybe I’m misunderstanding this concept. Could you point me in the right direction for practicing this? I can’t find where in the study vault Brooke addresses interrupting models.
