I would like to fall in love with the city I live in .
it is a medium sized city , I have no family here at all, I have chosen (I guess) not to make friends here.
More importantly, it is the birthplace of my children and workplace of myself and my husband.
I have never made friends here except for the people that are colleagues at work.
I want to settle into this city and feel amazing and love where I live as this could well be our place of residence for life.
but it feels very hard because of all the above reasons.
I don’t know why I struggle so much with actually embracing it and enjoying it.
