My adult brother is talking about committing suicide. He is buffering his pain with alcohol and is drunk every single day. He lives in a somewhat remote area that doesn’t offer many options for help. What help there is, is sub-par (the therapist he was seeing in the fall told him to pet his cats to feel better. Like, wtf?). What can I say or do to help him? I don’t want him to die!
