I’m reading the Astonishing Power of Emotions from the Hicks and I am just amazed at how much it echoes the work we do here. It’s the exact same work on thoughts, only presented through this idea of non physical beings, powerful laws of the universe, etc.

I’m still trying to decide what I believe when it comes to LOA — whether I interpret it literally or as a helpful shortcut/allegory of how the brain and interpersonal relationships work.

If you don’t mind my asking, do you yourself believe in a higher force governing the universe, our thoughts actually emitting vibrations aligning with and attracting other things of the same essence, and a non physical realm from which these teachings would come?

Do you suspend belief and think maybe it does, maybe it doesn’t, I don’t really need to know to make it all work in my favor?
