Protocol, Fat Adapted & Hunger

Hi Brooke”
I’ve finally done it – I have gotten off sugar and flour – made it through withdrawal and feel much “clearer”. I’m struggling with figuring out a protocol and where hunger fits with all of this. I want to be able to truly listen to my body and only eat when I’m hungry and stop when I’m full, but it seems like your advice is to plan in advance and eat even if I’m not hungry at that time and if I’m really hungry I can’t eat any more food then I planned. I understand the need to be able to distinguish real hunger from emotional hunger and desire – but it feels like I’m “disconnecting” from what my body is telling be about my real hunger. How do I know the “right” amount of food to plan for each day? It also seems like there are days when I’m truly not very hungry and so don’t eat all the food I planned, but then the next day I’m really hungry and need more food to feel full. Please help me to understand the relationship between eating “on protocol” and listening to my true body hunger? Thanks Brooke – you ROCK! Kerenda
