Taking action despite a negative emotion or cleaning your mind first?

I’m sure you’re going to help me! 🙂

I’m really trying to take actions from positive emotions (to create a positive result).
Sometimes, when I’m feeling hesitant (because I’m not sure what I’m creating is good enough, I’m cleaning that too!), I’m struggling to take action despite that hesitant emotion.

Here’s the confusion that I’m in right now: When do you have to really clean your mind to take action from a positive emotion (and not from feeling hesitant for example) and when should I take action anyway, just like Brooke used to workout even when she felt dread?
Of course, the aim is to create THE result that I’m looking for 🙂
