When are you ready to start working on new thoughts?


I’m new to scholars and I’m confused about when it’s the right time to start changing your thoughts. I understand that in some cases (all cases?) it’s important to spend time accepting your feelings first. Or even sometimes is it just about accepting feelings and you don’t need to change the thoughts?

Is there some material on the site that particularly addresses this issue?

I am finding it very difficult to finish projects at work because I have a fear getting negative feedback and angering my boss. I’ve done thought downloads and I understand that thoughts about previous negative feedback that I have received are creating this feeling.

Obviously, these thoughts are not serving me because I have stopped producing results at work! Should I start trying to change them?
