when buffering jumps from wasting time to overeating


I have 3 contracts with 200 hours of billable work to complete by March 31 and it feels like a stretch to pull that off based on past experience. I notice that the less I am buffering with time (Facebook, internet), the more I am buffering with eating/drinking. Previously I was doing OK with my fasting protocol.

Questions:

1. How do I handle the “whack-a-mole” situation of doing all the work to follow my calendar protocol and stop time buffering, only to have it show up in buffering with food? Do I work on calendar protocols, eating protocols, and drinking protocols? While stretching myself to complete these contracts? I realize that there are common thoughts and feelings underlying all of these ways of buffering, but it feels like problems multiplying.
