Where Do I Write Matters

I used to write beautiful love letters, thank you letters that found their way inside a frame and on walls of places, and ever since I’ve used email, everyone I know tells me I am a terrific writer and it’s always a delight to read what I write.

The day I decided to write my first book and purchased Scrivener software, which is phenomenal for any writer, I found myself freezing.

It’s as if whatever I write there has to be perfect and ready to be sent to an editor.
But when I send myself notes via emails or take a small notepad and write some ideas, suddenly I am so free. But then I think I did not actually write anything. These are just notes here and there.
I don’t get it.
