No idea about a product/service for starting business thought

As I was just sifting through the Entrepreneurial section of the Study Vault, just to see what was available in this section, I caught myself thinking about how I have always wanted to start a business.

I have always had this thought that “I don’t have an idea (product or service) for starting a business.” I realize now, that this is just a thought and is actually the thing that is blocking me from starting a business.

However, part of the “why or journey” for me, is to start a business because I have graduated from a business school. On the other hand, now that I have gotten older, the other “why” for me is to prove that as a woman in technology I can create or provide something that advances technology.

After I think this, I feel that I am putting a lot of pressure on myself. So, it leaves me right in the same place I was which is, “I don’t have an idea (product or service) for starting a business.”

What would you recommend as far as moving to a different thought to move me toward the right actions? I realize it doesn’t have to be anything big, even a small deviation from this thought that I have had for at least 10 years is a step in the right direction.

Here is what I came up with for my first run at a model:

Unintentional Model
C: Goal to start a business
T: I don’t have an idea (product or service) for starting a business
F: uncreative
A: wonder what my next steps could be, think about how I should be doing more (even though I don’t know what the more is)
R: come up with no ideas for a business

Intentional Model
C: Goal to start a business
T: ??? As a woman, I will provide the best possible service/product to allow companies to make the most of their data
F: Inspired
A: 4 distinct descriptive service offerings, specific technology skillset acquired, deliverables/outputs designed and ready for client-specific input, well thought out plan for business growth
R: Start a business serving Enterprise customers with ways to solve problems utilizing technology
