In Brooke’s business philosophy I have heard her talk about different buckets, i.e. profit, revenue, expenses and owner’s salary. As I understand the last three, revenue is the money that actually comes into your business, expenses are things like Facebook ads, head shots, retreat fees, hiring, attorney’s/accountant’s fees and owner’s salary is what you pay yourself for the work you’re doing in your business.

What I don’t clearly understand is what is the profit for? I always thought profit was what you took home as your salary/your money from your business, but Brooke seems to teach it as something else. What comes out of the profit bucket? Thanks!
