artificial sweeteners and stevia

Hi! I have written before in “ask a coach” that I would like to give up sweeteners and stevia as a test to find out if this has a positive effect on my cravings and urges.
My brain has no problems at all with giving up sweetened foods. But when it comes to giving up the stevia or sucralose sweetened tea that I drink throughout the day, my brain freaks out. Just the thought of drinking only unsweetened beverages makes me feel very restricted.
My brain is telling me “What are you drinking then? You don’t like any drinks except tea, and even tea tastes much better sweetened. You can’t drink only water, it’s so boring”.
What can I tell my brain to stop producing such negative thoughts? After all, it would only be a test for several weeks.
Thanks in advance!
