Being accountable for my own money?

Hi Brooke,
I have never been money driven so I have allowed my husband to manage our finances. We own three businesses: River adventure company, convenient store/gas station and cafe. However, he makes decisions that I do not agree with but we live comfortably and I’ve been busy raising our four children. However, now that my husband is in his 60’s and having some health issues I may have a compelling reason to begin to learn about our finances. I’m not sure how to begin? Is it worth the argument? Is the status quo so bad? Honestly, I’m a survivor and have always figured everything out as it comes. However, I do pride myself on proactivation in most all aspects of my life, except for money. So my question is how do I begin feeling more comfortable about my future since I’m planning on living another 50+years. I have lots to still accomplish. How do I change my vision of money and feel comfortable talking about it so that I feel secure going forward?
Thanks!
Lisa
