My co-worker and I are supposed to work together. When I asked her if she could work with me, she said she didn’t want to. How do I not take that personally?

C: Co-worker said “I don’t want to work with you. I prefer to work alone.”
T: She doesn’t like me.
F: Rejection
A: Ruminate
R: I start to feel pain.

C: Co-worker said “I don’t want to work with you. I prefer to work alone.”
T: THis has more to do with her than me.
F: Relief
A: Continue on
R: Don’t ruminate

How do I believe that this has more to do about her than me? How do I believe that other people’s opinions about me are more about them than me?
