I listened to this month’s Difficult Conversations Workshop by Jody (I loved it!)
I have a question about applying the process to a workplace setting. Since the workplace is more of a structured environment with specific roles, would you recommend making any changes to the process?
My concern is that a manager may have a “Do what I say” approach and not be willing to engage in what may be viewed as a lengthy process for clarification. Would it circumvent the process too much to limit clarification to what is expected and not seek a deeper understanding?
Please let me know your thoughts.
